What does it smell like?

What are these made of, Is it natural?

We use simple, natural materials without added synthetic fragrance. What you smell comes from the ingredients themselves.

Please note, each piece is made by hand, so no two are exactly the same. Small variations in size, shape, and color are part of what makes each one unique.

How long does one stick burn?

Depends on the size, a 21 cm/8.25 inch stick burns for about 45 mins, a 10 cm/ 4.1 inch stick burns for about 20 mins.

Is it safe to use indoors?

Yes — as with any incense, we recommend using it in a well-ventilated space.

A small amount of fresh air helps keep the experience light and comfortable.

Understanding our scent system

We describe our incense using three simple aspects:

Scent, Feeling, and Strength.

  • Scent: Woody, Floral, or Herbal
  • Feeling: Calm, Focus, or Unwind
  • Strength: Light, Medium, or Rich

If you were new to incense, we would suggest you start simple. Lighter, softer scents are usually easier to begin with — something calm, not too rich.
